What a Handsome little boy?!?

I know this happens a lot, but this is the first time it happened to us. Lilly was actually mistaken for a BOY! To make it worse, it was by a mother with a child that was about a year old! Brendan had just taken Lilly out of the car in her carseat and a family was walking out of the restaurant asked how old "he" was. Brendan responded SHE is 4 months. By this time I am out of the car and the lady proceeds to go on and on about how handsome "he" is! UGH! She was wearing her white and navy sailor dress, but her carseat does have pink all over it! They probably thought that I was rude because I did not say anything back, not even thank you. I just kept walking. Maybe they got the point later... Of course her lacy bonnet was in her diaper bag and I put it on her as soon as we sat down so no one else could mistake my little princess for a boy. This definately won't happen again today. She is wearing a pink polka dot dress with a headband that has a BIG pink bow!
